Successful candidates will have experience in a manufacturing environment and be able to get hands on, building and testing physical hardware (we’ll help you come up to speed on the quantum side of things).Â

ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Configure and optimize production lines for manufacturing of Maybell’s dilution refrigeratorsÂ
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in performing hands on assembly and fabrication of complex equipmentÂ
- Develop and improve manufacturing processesÂ
- Implement manufacturing quality and organizational systemsÂ
- Lead continuous improvement effortsÂ
- Develop work instructions and production documentationÂ
- Design manufacturing jigs and equipment to improve production quality and throughputÂ
- Collaborate with engineering to improve system design and DFMÂ
- Build and manage aggressive production schedulesÂ
Required QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or equivalent fieldÂ
- 8+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environmentÂ
- 3+ years of work experience leading a manufacturing lineÂ
- 3+ years of management experienceÂ
- Self-starter who can thrive in ambiguity with ability to drive results independently and through team membersÂ
- Exceptional organizational and project management skillsÂ
- Exceptional hands-on assembly and fabrication skillsÂ
- Exceptional leadership and communication skillsÂ
- Strong CAD & mechanical design skillsÂ
- Team player with strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Strong safety-oriented mindsetÂ

Desired QualificationsÂ
- Experience in any of the following areas: vacuum systems, leak checking, thermal systems, brazing, welding, valves, pumps, pneumaticsÂ
- Experience in managing quality systemsÂ
- Machine shop and fabrication skillsÂ
Base salary:Â Â $115,000/yr – $145,000/yr
