Quantum COmmons

The Elevate Quantum Tech Hub

Breaking Ground For Quantum Innovation in Colorado & Beyond

Introducing: Quantum COmmons at Arvada

Quantum COmmons is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at establishing Colorado and the Mountain West as global leaders in quantum technology. Situated on a 70-acre site in Arvada, this state-of-the-art campus is dedicated to advancing quantum innovation and fostering economic growth in the region.

The Quantum COmmons campus will feature a 10,000-square-foot fabrication lab and cleanroom to support prototyping and low-volume manufacturing, alongside a 17,000-square-foot open-access quantum lab designed for collaborative research and development. These facilities are essential for accelerating progress in the quantum industry, enabling breakthroughs across various sectors, including artificial intelligence, climate technology, and healthcare.

This ambitious project is a collaborative effort involving key partners such as the Colorado School of Mines, which owns the Arvada site and has been instrumental in its development. Elevate Quantum, designated as a Tech Hub by the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA), has secured $40.5 million in federal funding, activating an additional $74 million in state support and $1 billion in private capital. These combined investments underscore the commitment to making the Mountain West a global leader in quantum innovation.

The establishment of Quantum COmmons signifies a transformative moment for the region, positioning Colorado at the forefront of the quantum revolution. By providing cutting-edge facilities and fostering a collaborative environment, the project aims to attract startups, scale-ups, and established companies, thereby creating jobs and stimulating economic development. As Governor Jared Polis remarked, “Quantum technology is our future, and in Colorado, we are building what we need to support the quantum revolution.”
