Colorado designated as Tech Hub for Quantum
Colorado received an important designation from the federal government. The Department of Commerce designated Colorado as a Tech Hub focused on the advancement of quantum technology.
This new and exciting industry is based on using quantum physics to take computers to the next level. Colorado is one of 20 hubs that are receiving this designation, which will help bring more investments and federal funding into [Colorado]. The Biden administration has set aside $10 billion in total for them, meaning Colorado will initially receive $500 million.

Scientists have all the knowledge they need to successfully model how a new drug will react in someone’s body, including side effects and solutions for any disease. But, they can’t do it.
To be successful, it requires running interactions between the drug and every single atom in the body through a computer, which represents billions upon billions of individual processes. Solving those equations would take longer than the universe is expected to exist.
