Elevate Quantum Partners with West of England and University of Bristol to Create First-Ever Quantum Growth Bridge
Elevate Quantum has signed a landmark international agreement with the University of Bristol and the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, creating the first-ever “Quantum Growth Bridge” between the UK and the Mountain West. The deal marks a major milestone in global quantum collaboration and builds on the UK-Colorado Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year, as well as the broader UK-US Technology Prosperity Agreement.
The partnership links Bristol’s 150+ quantum researchers and deep tech incubators with Colorado’s national labs, universities, and startups. It focuses on aligning academic research with industry needs, scaling quantum businesses, and integrating supply chains across borders.
Senior representatives from Colorado and New Mexico visited Bristol for the formal signing and toured the Quantum Technologies Innovation Centre (QTIC), which supports early-stage quantum ventures and will expand next year with the opening of the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.
The agreement was supported by the UK Consulate General in Chicago, the Office of Colorado Governor Jared Polis, and leading institutions including CU Boulder, Colorado School of Mines, and NIST.
