‘Uniquely Placed’: Why Quantinuum Chose New Mexico for Latest Expansion

Having already established partnerships with entities like Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory and the University of New Mexico, Quantinuum is bringing a research and development facility to the state by the end of this year — positioning New Mexico firmly at the front of the current quantum revolution.

Quantum Impact
Colorado Quantum Funding for Quantum Companies

The Colorado Quantum Fund (CQF) for Innovative Lending improves access to capital for quantum companies in Colorado by encouraging lenders to make favorable loans to companies by registering up to 15% of the loan in a pooled loan loss reserve. The reserve is accessible with a 100% refundable tax credit should the lender incur losses associated with those loans. This could open up more than $300m in loans for eligible companies that expand in the state.
Quantum Expansion
Building The Future of Quantum Engineering at Colorado School of Mines

The Colorado School of Mines’ Quantum Engineering Program – one of the first in the nation – is preparing students for the practical engineering challenges of building quantum technology and working within the quantum industry. Students are getting hands-on experience to develop the skills that the industry is looking for. The program, which began in 2020, enables engineers to work on components up and down the tech stack of a quantum system.
