This mix of leading startups, world class-research institutions, and established tech companies ensures we maintain rigorous attention to detail while navigating a fast-moving and dynamic environment​​.

Role & Responsibilities:

You will play a pivotal role in both the financial stewardship and operational excellence of Elevate Quantum. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Management:

  • Oversee all legal, audit, and reporting functions.
  • Manage budget planning, financial projections, and analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize up to $100 million in private financing initiatives.

Operational Management:

  • Streamline and optimize business operations to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
    Manage complex stakeholder relationships, including federal agencies, partners, and internal teams.
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives and operational plans.
  • Oversee administrative functions and ensure operational excellence across all departments.

Experience & Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in financial management and operations, preferably within a startup environment.
  • Your heart is with a startup – getting to ‘yes’ every time – but you also know the standards to operate with important, high-profile / government stakeholders.
  • Proven track record as a financial controller or accountant.
  • Experience managing multiple complex stakeholders and working with major federal grants is highly desirable.
  • The presence of being a safe pair of hands while having the hunger of a startup senior leader.
  • Hands-on experience in driving operational improvements and implementing best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
