This mix of leading startups, world class-research institutions, and established tech companies ensures we maintain rigorous attention to detail while navigating a fast-moving and dynamic environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

As the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be at the coal face of Elevate Quantum’s strategy to dramatically accelerate innovation in the quantum ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include:

Oversight of Lab and Fabrication Services:

• Stand up and lead Lab and Fabrication Services, focusing on both operational and sales goals in line with EDA Tech Hub milestones.
• Ensure alignment of Lab and Fabrication Services with the broader organizational strategy and market demands.

Leadership of Lab and Fabrication Services Team:

• Direct and manage the Lab and Fabrication Services team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance team effectiveness and productivity.

Lab and Fabrication Services Ambassador:

• Serve as the chief representative for Lab and Fabrication Services, driving key negotiations and forming strategic partnerships.
• Advocate for the organization’s mission and the role of Lab and Fabrication ServicesI didn’t hear which.

Strategic Grants and Partnerships:

• Lead initiatives related to grants and partnerships, ensuring the organization secures necessary funding and collaborations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and success in strategic grant acquisition and partnership development.

Ecosystem Leadership:

• Work with the Quantum industry to support ecosystem management and leadership to continually assess, record, and address the needs of our critical stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications:

Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in the quantum industry or related sectors, with proven success in a startup environment delivering results for a relevant customer base.
• Experienced in standing up and managing a team of at least 5 to 10 people.

Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in speaking to and selling to scientific audiences.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
